    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[After Robert McBrayer graduated college, he reported to the Johnson Space Center in March of 1963. He was there assigned to a section called &quot;Biodynamics&quot; and in that section, they worked on Human tolerances to impact sustaining acceleration and acoustics. Robert was assigned to the acoustics group, and his first job was to design and develop a machine to produce low-frequency pure tones to test humans. He also designed and developed a test chamber for testing humans, and he participated in doing the actual human test with the machines that he helped build. He helped document the results as well. After his venture in doing basic research, he went into an area called &quot;crew&#039;s survival equipment design and development,&quot; and he was assigned pieces of equipment that were his to design, update, and help build. In 1966, Robert asked to be transferred from the Johnson Space Center to the Marshall Space Flight Center, and he then moved to Huntsville, AL. Robert was immediately put on the Orbital Workshop where they were writing task analysis, and procedures for crew station reviews. They did two of those, on in 1967 and the other in 1968. From the Orbital Workshop, he was responsible for all the crew interfaces on adapter, etc.]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Robin was interested in science growing up, stating she would play with chemistry and geology kits. She went to Tennessee Tech with a major in mechanical engineering after switching from electrical engineering. During her college experience, she completed a Co-Op at the US Space and Rocket Center for Space Camp. During her senior year, she completed an interview for Marshall Space Flight Center at her university and got an offer to work for NASA after she graduated college. She had the opportunity to attend the International Space University in Vienna, Austria to take 10 week classes with space industry professionals. She recently completed her degree in history at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, saying it has helped her in the engineering world. While working for NASA, she worked as a propulsion analyst and other positions in the propulsion field. She also supported the Space Shuttle Propulsion team during her time with NASA. Later on, she started working with Jacobs Engineering as a risk manager for the SLS space vehicle. During her career, she has published a number of papers in the professional world. She states that when she started in the industry in 1989, there were few woman engineers. Her experience as a woman in a male dominated field changed over time as more women entered the field. She emphasizes that continuing to learn about your field after graduating school and learning about other fields that interface with your field is crucial. She also states communication is a must today for the workforce.]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Ron Clements was born in 1939 in Reform, Alabama. He earned his BS in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Alabama and his MS in AE from the University of Illinois. He started working at Thiokol in June, 1963 in the Stress Group - Propellants. He worked on the Spartan missile program. He went on to become a project engineer on the Castor motor program. This also involved working with the Japanese to provide the Castor rocket for their N1 &amp; N2 rockets. He then worked on the Navy Mark 70 missile and became the program manager for the Mark 70. Thiokol Huntsville was notified that HQ would be closing out operations in Huntsville by December, 1996.]]></dcterms:description>
